This year, our Virtual Dallas Observer Iron Fork’s main showcase will be the Iron Fork Chef Challenge, and we're taking things up a notch by hosting a Dallas vs. Houston Chef Throwdown! Both cities are always bringing the heat when it comes to fresh and unique meals and we are excited to see what they bring to the table this year.

Two top chefs will receive a basket of ingredients and one secret ingredient provided by US Foods, to go head to head for the prestigious Iron Fork award. The winner will be announced during the virtual event & will have the chance to compete at the World Food Championship. Check out past year’s Chef Competitions.

Also, during the virtual event, we will feature a whiskey favorite, Jack Daniel’s. They will not only demonstrate how to make the perfect cocktail using Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple, but will also be walking us through how to infuse desserts with their spirits! Next up, we will pass it over to the experts at Scardello Artisan Cheese to teach us how to create the perfect cheese board right at home! PLUS MORE!

Pick Up Party

Iron Fork Food & Drink Bundle Boxes will be available at a drive-thru Pick-Up Party on September 1 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Centennial Hall at Fair Park. While we may not be able to celebrate Iron Fork together in person, we will still be celebrating at a 6-foot distance from the comfort of your car. The music will be loud, the spirits will be high, and the Food & Drink Bundle boxes will be full and ready for you to take home. Pull your car right up with your window down and we will place your items directly in your vehicle.

*VIP Ticket Holders will have access to free food from featured Food Trucks (Halal Mother Truckers, Nacho Loco & Tutta's Pizza) at the Pick-Up Party
